Program Manager
Reports to: Executive Director or Designee
Classification: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: Remote, Statewide (New Mexico)
Travel Requirement: Frequent in-state travel required (150-350 miles/month)
Salary Range: $55,000–$60,000 DOE, plus benefits
Position Overview
The JAG-NM Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery and integrity of JAG-NM programs throughout the state. This role ensures fidelity to the JAG model, supervises and supports Specialists, and serves as the primary liaison between JAG-NM and school sites. The Program Manager plays a critical role in program quality, school relationships, data integrity, and the professional development of Specialists.

Core Responsibilities

Program Oversight & Model Fidelity
-
Conducts regular site visits and classroom observations to ensure adherence to the JAG model and high-quality program delivery.

Reviews and monitors program outcomes and compliance across all sites.

Specialist Supervision & Support
-
Provides coaching, accountability, and ongoing support to assigned JAG Specialists.

Participates in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and evaluation of Specialists, in partnership with school administrators.

School & Community Relationships
-
Serves as a liaison between JAG-NM and school partners, ensuring positive and productive working relationships.

Meets regularly with school administrators to build program support, resolve concerns, and communicate impact.

Professional Development
-
Plans and facilitates monthly regional Specialist meetings focused on training, support, and data review.

Identifies needs and coordinates additional training and development opportunities.

Event Leadership
-
Helps plan and implement statewide student events annually (e.g., State Leadership Conference, Career Development Conference).

Supports and participates in field trips, competitions, and other student opportunities.

Data & Compliance
-
Ensures Specialists submit timely, accurate data and documentation in the JAG Database and other platforms.

Analyzes site-level and statewide data to support program improvement and strategic planning.

Organizational Leadership
-
Collaborates with the Operations Team to ensure organizational goals are met and programs operate smoothly.

Contributes to grant reporting, presentations, and outreach as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.

Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in education, business, social work, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

At least three years of relevant experience, including youth programs, education, or supervision.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage conflict.

Proven ability to lead, coach, and support a dispersed team.

Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of data reporting and program outcomes.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM/data systems (experience with Salesforce preferred).

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for frequent travel.
