Urgent: Support Needed for Displaced Job Corps Students
A federal judge has temporarily paused the shutdown of Job Corps programs — but students across New Mexico are already being impacted. Many have been sent home or are preparing to leave, uncertain of what comes next.
JAG-NM is stepping in. We are enrolling all displaced students into our Out-of-School Program to ensure they continue receiving:

Basic needs support (housing, food, transportation, medical care)

GED/HSE prep and testing

Career guidance, job placement, and college access

Ongoing case management and mentorship

Leadership development and national opportunities
