Out-of-School Program
Who Can Join?
JAG-NM’s Out-of-School Program supports:

Young adults ages 16–24 years old
-
Living in New Mexico
-
Not currently enrolled in school
-
In the process of leaving or already left school
-
Graduated but needing help with next steps
WE PROVIDE
1:1 support from a JAG Specialist to set goals and build a plan
Aptitude & Assessment tests to find out the skills you already have
GED/HSE and education pathway support (based on your goals)
Career exploration and job-readiness support (resume, applications, interview prep)
Connections to local resources that can help remove barriers
Ongoing encouragement and accountability as you take next steps

HOW IT WORKS
Complete the Sign Up & Referral Form
We schedule a conversation about your goals & walk you though registration
Meet your new Specialist for your first one on one session
Build a plan for your education, training, and/or employment goals
Start taking next steps with ongoing support from your specialist & other OOS youth plus one on one check-ins
Out of School Sites
JAG-NM’s Out-of-School Specialists partner with trusted community organizations across New Mexico to offer safe, welcoming spaces where young adults can get support. We also meet virtually or in public locations convenient for you. Schedule time with a Specialist to explore education options, build your career path, and plan your next steps!
